Moisture-Reactive Polyester
EKS Live™ is an innovative and brand-new breathable polyester fabric. Its chemically active function of moisture absorption and discharge creates the ideal wearing comfort by reducing the thermal and hydrophillic stress to the body. This superb function is semi-perpectual due to polymerization.

An extremely moisture absorbing material is emulsified and polymerized with Hydrophobic Polyester to be moisture-active. Unlike the regular glueing process, molecular bonding by polymerization enables semi-perpetual performance even after laundry or dry cleaning. EKS Live™ absorbs twice as much moisture as wool, about three times as much as silicagel, and almost four times as much moisture as cotton. EKS Live™ generates heat when absorbing moisture, and this heat becomes the energy for faster and more effective moisture discharge. EKS Live™ also acts as a neutralizer against both acids and alkalis, so it's naturally deodorizing.

EKS Live absorbs more moisture faster, and discharges it more efficiently and effectively allowing for faster cool downs and a more comfortable, dryer feeling against the skin.

Applications
EKS Live™ can be added to many fabrics and is ideal for aerobic performance wear or under garments where intense moisture wicking and discharge is essential. EKS Live™ works equally well in fabrics intended for winter or summer activities since its heat generating capabilities can be modified while still maintaining its superb moisture transport and drying function.
