Tomen Corporation Introduces GX-ACT Coating
NEW YORK, 12/1/99 ‚ Brand new for 2000, the Textile Division of Tomen Corporation introduces GX-ACT to expand their group of GX coatings. With it's extremely high breathabiliy and high water repellency this new coating is perfect for high aerobic activities like cycling, running, cross country skiing etc. The GX-ACT coating offers 15,000g/sqm/24h or mousture premeabiliyt (the highest in the Gelanots®® coating group) and 3,000mmH20 waterproofness.

The hydrophobic, micro-pourous polyurethane of these new coatings delivers superb breathability and waterproofness. Tomen's GX group offers theree coatings: GX-ACT, GX, and GX-PR with silk powder applied for a drier hand. Both GX and GX-PR offer lighweight durability and a high degree of moisture permeabily, 10,000g/sqm/24h and waterproofness of 7,000mmH20. All three GX coatings are so durable the Tomen guarantees their use in unlined garments.
